This week's LA runs were cancelled due to low air quality from the huge fires down there. But I decided to go ahead and do six miles this week anyway. Our air's just fine up here in Tehachapi. :) I don't know how they plan to make up the skipped run, but I figured if I stayed on the original schedule, we'd match up again eventually. And, I want to do the 12-mile run with the group in San Francisco when I'm up there at the end of this month, so it would be better to stay on their schedule for now.
Anyway, the run went fine. I went to the park by my mom's house and ran loops there. I did eight loops plus a bit to get in my one hour and thirty-six minutes. I wore my new red shirt and tried out a few "Sport Beans" -- jelly beans with electrolytes. I only ate three while I was out on the course, but they sat in my stomach okay. I think I still prefer GU, but the jelly beans do have the advantage of being less sticky and messy.
This afternoon, I plan to write up the descriptions of five magazines to post on eBay tomorrow. I've had my week off, and it's time to start selling things again. I plan to take my laptop into town and do the actual listing using the Java Cafe's wireless Internet connection. That should save a little time.
