Welp, I didn't feel like running from zombies today, so I used my half marathon training app and picked one of the midweek 30-minute runs, with a run/walk ratio of 2 minutes running/1 minute walking. It went pretty well. Even walking one minute for every two running, I kept up a 15 minute mile pace and felt good.

Using the half marathon app reminded me that if I'm still thinking about doing the Big Sur Half Marathon in November, I'd better work up a schedule and see when I have to start training for it. Turns out, pretty much next week.

Hm, I'm still not sure if I'm going to do the Big Sur Half. If I do, I might have some problems scheduling training around the end of September/first of October—I've got the Miramar Air Show (probably) Sept 24 and a weekend at Disneyland October 1-2. One week I could skip, but not both. I guess I could run at Disneyland, but I might not have energy to walk around all day having fun if I do!

Well, I can think about that later. Meanwhile, I should start doing the training so if I do decide to do the half, I'll be ready.
