Week 2! Another slow run, but I got out there. I was a little worried about getting up early, after sleeping in until 8 AM Sunday and Monday. Plus, I didn't sleep in the afternoon yesterday, and had a hard time getting to sleep at night, lying awake until after midnight. Then I woke up at 4 AM and couldn't get back to sleep, so I lay there drowsing until about 10 minutes to 6, when I went ahead and got up and ran. Turned out to be fine to get up and run—I'm still pretty slow, but that's at least partly because I'm going slow on purpose to save energy in case of zombie chases. I'll probably be tired later, but I don't have anywhere I have to go today, so I'll just take a nap if I get sleepy.
Anyway, the run got done. No zombie chases today. I suspect, if I'm going to run with chases on, I'm going to have to just run as best I can and take my chances if there are chases. But I do want to ease into running again after taking so many months off, so these first few weeks I'm not going to worry about speed, just getting the missions done.
